RUML met with Mastercard and Deliver-E to forge partnerships on digital innovation platforms. Supported by the USAID, the platform will streamline information sharing among rural farmers’ produce and facilitate access to urban markets. The design involves platform delivery by Mastercard for RUML, while Deliver-E focuses on seamless logistical operations or delivery from farm to market.
The partnership is part of RUML’s goal to partner with the private sector to strengthen the farmers’ participation in the supply chain through a digital ecosystem by integrating production information from farm input suppliers, communicating with markets, and linking to potential financial sources, including farm credit.
RUML is a seven-consortium project led by GlowCorp and funded by the USAID.
