SENIOR PROGRAM OFFICER FOR KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT

Reports to : Assistant Secretary General
Status of Position : 3 – 6 months probationary
Job Accountability: The position is responsible for organization-wide knowledge sharing, so that the organization’s know-how, information and experience is shared inside and (as appropriate) outside the network e.g. donors, partners, and other stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop AsiaDHRRA’s KM system and conduct the regular assessment and planning of KM deliverables at the organizational and project/program levels, in coordination with responsible work units.
- Promote knowledge sharing through the organization’s operational processes and systems by, strengthening links between knowledge sharing and the information systems, and improving integration among information systems in the organization, to facilitate seamless exchange of information across systems;
- Co-create and promote collaborative tools to facilitate sharing of ideas and work among internal teams and external partners;
- Help disseminate information about the organization’s knowledge sharing program to internal and external audiences, including organizing knowledge sharing events (such as brown bag sessions, knowledge fairs, site visits, interviews), maintaining communications on knowledge sharing across the organization, participation in orientation and training sessions, and preparation of brochures/presentations.
- Monitor and evaluate the knowledge sharing program, including external benchmarking and evaluation programs/opportunities;
- Ensures the production, publication, and dissemination of the network’s knowledge products including project related documents, collaterals, etc.
- Ensures the timely preparation and consolidation of periodic network and project reports;
- Maintain the network’s intranet document management system, social media accounts, and, websites;
- Support the Management is preparing presentation and social marketing materials, together with concerned work units.
Competency Requirements
Education: University degree, preferably in communication arts, development communication, information management, social sciences or related fields.
Relevant Work Experience: At least 4 years’ experience in production of KM materials; 2 years NGO work
Specific Work: Proven track record and experience in developing and executing KM plans (including social media management, publication of IEC materials) and materials
Competencies:
- Technical skills in Graphic Designing/Desktop Publishing Software
- Technical skills on Website and Social Media Management
- Excellent written and oral communications skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple teams
- Ability to manage complex workloads and deliver work to tight deadlines
