Hanoi, Vietnam – VietDHRRA, hosted by Center for Agricultural Extension Volunteers, organized its 4^th General Assembly on 23-24 March 2017. It was participated by representatives of 17 member-organizations. The General Assembly agreed on the priority agenda of the network in the next three years and the action points for revitalizing the network, including mobilization of resources and expertise from among its members. They re-affirmed focus on human resource development and developing trainers including grassroots leaders, the building up of on-ground models and its documentation for sharing, and the effective use of ICT and social media platforms to knowledge sharing within the network and in its cooperation in other countries.
It also elected its new set of officers and re-affirmed the role of CAEV as secretariat to the network.


The conduct of GA was made possible through the ReCoERDO-Asia program of AsiaDHRRA. ReCoERDO Asia aims to, among others, strengthen the capacities of DHRRAs in providing effective services to rural people’s organizations.
