Online via Zoom – PhilDHRRAorganized the National Consultation cum Validation Workshop for the ASEAN RDPE Workplan 2021-2025. The Philippines is only the second of the 7 in-country processes (in person, virtual, blended) which are expected to take place this week.
The results of this national consultation-validation will be consolidated for the regional discussion during the upcoming Senior Officials Meeting on Rural Development and Poverty Eradication (SOMRDPE) to be hosted by Thailand, March 25-26.
The next step of this process is the development of the Rural Development Master Plan which should cut across sectors and pillars in the ASEAN community. We hope regional CSOs can join hands with us in the coming months on this challenging but exciting agenda.
