Mr. Florante “Nonoy” Villas has joined AsiaDHRRA as the Coordinator of the “Linking Small Farmers to Market” Project.
Nonoy brings with him over (25) years of experience in rural and social development work, with over eighteen (18) consecutive years focused on the management and supervision of program operations for environment, health and nutrition, sustainable agriculture, food security, rural enterprises, marketing, local governance and other rural community development projects.
He has also been involved in evaluating development programs for over 15 years with funding organizations based in Europe and Asia. While majority of assignments were with NGOs in Mindanao, some were programs based in Southeast Asia. Nonoy previously worked as program manager in XAES, Heifer Project International–Philippine Program, PhilDHRRA, Catholic Relief Services-Mindanao, Kinaiyahan Foundation and HEKS Cambodia
