Via Zoom – AsiaDHRRA youth representatives joined the 2021 Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (APFSD) Youth Forum with some 400 participants from all over Asia Pacific representing various agencies, groups, organizations, etc. working on diverse sustainable development issues.
“The Youth Forum is a space dedicated for young people from across the Asia-Pacific region, working on diverse sustainable development issues, to discuss and deliberate on the theme of APFSD every year.”
This year’s theme for discussion and deliberation will focus on the impact of COVID-19 at local, national, and regional levels and recommend youth inclusive recovery solutions to accelerate transformation for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda in the Asia-Pacific region. Key discussions covered so far are (a) Education and Digitalization, (b) Health, and (c) Mental Health issues confronting the youth.
