Asiadhrra, represented by its Secretary General, Ms. Marlene Ramirez, is set to participate together with more than 4,500 participants, including heads of state, finance ministers, central bank governors, and representatives from the private sector, academe, media, and civil society in the 46th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank to be held from Thursday, 2 May 2013 to Sunday, 5 May 2013 at the India Expo Center and Mart (IECM) Greater Noida, Delhi National Capital Region, India.
Through the Annual Meeting’s Civil Society Program (CSP), ADB engages with NGOs, labor unions, community-based organizations, and other civil society groups and provides opportunities for dialogue, knowledge sharing and networking with other CSOs as well as other Annual Meeting participants.
The CSP features eleven scheduled events that include a civil society debate, five knowledge sharing sessions called “Learning with Partners” (LwP), and four panel discussions on selected topics relevant to ADB operations and which are organized with key CSOs. The traditional start to the CSP is a one hour Q&A with members of ADB senior management.
