5 November 2021 – AsiaDHRRA Secretary General, Ms. Marlene Ramirez, presented the ASEAN Rural Development and Poverty Eradication Framework Action Plan 2021-2025 (RDPE FAP 2021-2025) and updated on the key elements of the upcoming Rural Development Master Plan in the Private Sector Round Table Discussion for the 1st National Public-Private-People Partnership (PPPP) Forum on Rural Development and Poverty Eradication.
The National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC) of the Philiipines, as official representative to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Ministerial Meeting on Rural Development and Poverty Eradication (AMRDPE) and the ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Rural Development and Poverty Eradication (SOMRDPE), shall be hosting 10th ASEAN Public-Private-People-Partnership (PPPP) Forum on RDPE. As part of the preparations, series of round-table discussions and consultations shall be held with the national government agencies, non-government, and civil society organizations (NGOs/CSOs), the 14 Basic Sectors, the private sector, and the academe.
These consultations are aimed at substantiating the Philippines’ presentation to the 10th ASEAN PPPP Forum on RDPE as well as to foster knowledge and resource sharing among the various RDPE actors.
