Quezon City (via Zoom) – AsiaDHRRA participates in the “Presentation of the Draft Philippine Action Plan for the UN Decade of Family Farming 2019-2020” on 11 February 2021.
Key decision-makers from the government agencies were convened to provide comments and insights for the enhancement of the National Action Plan (NAP) together with the various multi-stakeholders who actively contributed to the crafting of NAP, including Agriculture and Rural Development Knowledge and Policy Platform (ARDKPP) members AsiaDHRRA, Asian Farmers Organization, PAKISAMA, PhilDHRRA, among others.
The UN General Assembly declared 2019-2028 as the Decade of Family Farming (UNDFF) in Rome in 2019.
The NAP for Family Farming provides roadmap to implement the UNDFF and ensure alignment to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
