8 November 2021 – AsiaDHRRA kicks-off the 3rd module of Responsible Agricultural Investment Regional Training of Trainers (RAI – TOT), the 3rd of 5 modules focuses on the Introduction to Collective Economic Forms and Strategies to Build Farmers Market Bargaining Power, it is facilitated by AsiaDHRRA Program Manager/ Subject Matter Expert, Mr. Florante Villas.
Specifically, the training aims to (a) Provide the participants an introduction or review of the concepts and strategies to enhance smallholders market bargaining strength through collective economic forms in agriculture; (b) Concretize participants’ concept appreciation of these tools and strategies complementing them with simulated learning in collective marketing, value chain analysis, among others; and (c) Enhance level of learning by providing venues for their application in real life situation, through assessment of common instruments for market access and/or integration to value chains.
The Module will run on November 8 for sessions 1-2, November 10 for session 3-4, and November 12 for sessions 5-6.
