Brussels, Belgium – AsiaDHRRA’s Secretary General Marlene Ramirez and Program Manager Mags Catindig, together with Mr. Pan Sopheap, Executive Director of Farmers and Nature Net, joined the European Union (EU) Partnership Forum 2017 held on 6-7 July in Brussels. Over 500 civil society organizations, local authorities, development, and, human rights groups, as well as representatives of European institutions and member states attended the event.
The EU Partnership Forum 2017 aimed to create a constructive dialogue and gather feedback on best practices to help EU institutions strengthen their partnerships with civil society organizations and public governing bodies worldwide.
Ms. Ramirez shared AsiaDHRRA’s learning and experiences from its Framework Partnership Agreement (FPA) and Action Grant in one of the panel discussions. She also put forward AsiaDHRRA’s recommendations to the European Commission for strengthening collaborations among FPA Partners.
