The AsiaDHRRA network successfully held its 6th General Assembly in Taiping, Malaysia on June 20-22, 2006.
Among the highlights of the event are the presentation of 4 case studies on the Models of PO-NGO Partnerships in Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan); a levelling-off on the PO autonomy process especially as it relates to AFA and AsiaDHRRA and the Asiadhrra Business meeting where a new set of Execom Members were elected and the Asiadhrra Strategic Plan was affirmed. A Forum on Developments and Action Points in WTO- DOHA Round and US-FTA in Asia capped the fruitful event.
