Quezon City – AsiaDHRRA convened ReCoERDo-Asia’s Regional Project Coordinators (RPC) and Project Advisory Committee (PAC) Members in the 6th Joint RPC and PAC Meeting on 27-28 July 2020 via Zoom.
Some 40 participants attended the meeting including the AsiaDHRRA ExeCom and secretariat members, and National Project Management team members from CamboDHRRA, InDHRRA/Bina Desa, DHRRA Malaysia, LaoDHRRA, MyanDHRRA, PhilDHRRA, ThaiDHRRA, and VietDHRRA. This year, the PAC was represented by Mr. Miguel Musngi of the ASEAN Secretariat, and, Dr. Zarni Minn of Myanmar SOMRDPE.
The 2-day online meeting was able to:
(a) Assess the progress of implementation, in relation to targeted outputs/activities and the utilization of budget for Year 4;
(b) Optimize gains; and identify fallback actions, in light of COVID-19 uncertainties;
(c) Ensure that plans for the extension period will help consolidate efforts that will support the approval of the next phase of ReCoERDO; and,
(d) Reflect on the contributions of the program vis-à-vis the review of AsiaDHRRA’s 2016-2020 Strategic Action Plan and the development of the new Strategic Plan 2021-2025.
