Esther Penunia, AsiaDHRRA’s Program Officer for Regional Policy Advocacy and Movement Building, participated in the World Social Forum (WSF) in Mumbai, India, last January 15-21, 2004 as one of the representatives of Southeast Asia Committee on Advocacy (SEACA), a regional advocacy network.
Ms. Penunia attended various conferences on globalization and peasant issues organized by various groups during the WSF. She also assisted SEACA in the conduct of a workshop on “Southeast Asia Civil Society Movements”, which it co-organized with NGO-COD.
