First batch of workshop on policy advocacy and constructive engagement to end child labor

AsiaDHRRA concluded the first batch of “Training of Trainers on Capacity Development on Policy Advocacy and Constructive Engagement” on 11-13 September 2024 in Cotabato City, supporting its initiative to eliminate child labor in agriculture, the RISE-UP Project.  The workshop was participated by rural people’s organizations (RPOs), Fagayugoy de Melitedted Libun deb Kuya (FAMELIK), and indigenous women leaders (Fintailan) from Barangay Kuya and Romongaon in South Upi, Maguindanao del Sur.

The training aimed to improve the participants’ collaboration and creation of impactful results through advocacy policies, constructive engagement, and promotion of sustainable agriculture toward a future free from child labor.

RISE-UP Project is an EU-funded project in partnership with Kaanib Foundation Inc., CO Multiversity, and PhilDHRRA.
