AsiaDHRRA’s Smallholder Economic Empowerment through Digital Solutions (SEEDS) Project team and CamboDHRRA organized a two-day workshop on basic digital literacy and digital marketing with farmers’ organizations on 24-25 February 2025. Organized in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, the event gathered and capacitated participants from selected agricultural cooperatives on the functionalities of mobile phone usage, online navigation, and applications relating to agriculture.
On the second day, the training also highlighted digital marketing through social media familiarity, understanding, content creation, networks, and hands-on practice. Successful case studies on digital marketing and social media were also presented, including an interactive workshop on paid and organic advertisement and analytical tools.
SEEDS is AsiaDHRRA’s project, which was implemented in Cambodia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. It is an initiative to address the region’s need for digital agriculture and is funded by the Korean Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) through IFAD.
