AsiaDHRRA, in coordination with CamboDHRRA, organized a regional Project Advisory Meeting for its Smallholder Economic Empowerment through Digital Solutions (SEEDS) Project on 27 February 2025 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Participated by its regional and national project teams and advisory working groups, the meeting was convened to ensure and support the project’s implementation and mobilization of service delivery.

The consultation has presented and reviewed the project’s baseline data with an examination based on the findings from the Digital Village Ecosystem Assessment (DVEA) and recent project outcomes to identify achievement, challenges, and areas of improvement.  In addition, identified barriers were also addressed, including proposed solutions, particularly in digital literacy gaps among smallholder farmers.

While fostering collaboration and promoting inclusivity, the discussion has created strategies to scale up digital innovations and integration with existing agricultural practices for equitable growth of farming communities, and with prioritized interventions, specifically the women and youth.

SEEDS is AsiaDHRRA’s project funded by the Korean Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) through IFAD and implemented in Cambodia, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
