Farmers’ Organization Matulatula Agrarian Reform Community Cooperative (MARCCO) conducted a Basic Digital and Financial Literacy workshop with their cluster farmers members on 18 February 2025 in Victoria, Mindoro Oriental. The activity is part of a series of MARCCO’s cascading workshops to capacitate their farmers on basic smartphone functions to navigate the web, application use, and emailing systems. The farmers were equipped with digital learning literacy involving loan and savings applications such as e-wallets and mobile banking.
AsiaDHRRA’s Smallholder Economic Empowerment through Digital Solutions (SEEDS) supports the training, and the initiative accelerates the social and economic development of smallholder farmers by addressing the needs for digital agriculture implemented in Cambodia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. The project is funded by the Korean Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) through IFAD.
