The Cambodian Partnership for the Development of Human Resources in Rural Areas (CamboDHRRA), through the support of Mekong Regional and Land Governance (MRLG), facilitated the participation of smallholder and Women and Agribusiness Network (WAN) during the regional workshop on “Enhancing Smallholder Readiness and Compliance for Forest Risk Commodity Regulations” organized by RECOFTC on February 19-20, 2025, at Kasetsart University, Bangkok, Thailand.

CamboDHRRA and WAN were engaged with several civil society organizations, smallholders, and the private sector to explore challenges and solutions for deforestation-free trade.  Key topics focused on traceability, compliance, data management, access to finance, market access, and partnerships.  The interactive two-day workshop addresses the challenges faced by smallholders in readiness and compliance with forest risks commodities (FRC) regulation by providing them with relevant knowledge, tools, connections, practical strategies, and collaborative solutions for sustainable integration into global value chains and ensuring no smallholder is left behind.
