20 – 21 July 2022 –AsiaDHRRA’s Project Officer Ms. Luchie Almagro-Blanco, visited Quinapondan, Eastern Samar, Philippines, for the official launch of the Farmers’ for Asia (FO4A) cooperation with the Island of Samar and Leyte Agriculture and Cooperative (ISLACO) on 20-21 July 2022. FO4A is providing capacity-building assistance to ISLACO, supported by AsiaDHRRA in cooperation with AgriCord and funding from IFAD-EU.
In addition, the event was attended by the Board of Directors and partner representatives of the Department of Trade and Industry – Negosyo Center Business Counselor (DTI-NCBC) and Grameen Foundation. The DTI-NCBC assisted ISLACO with their business enterprise and Grameen Foundation in hosting the FO4A launch and other provisions.
