Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – AsiaDHRRA’s Secretary General, Ms. Marlene D. Ramirez, together with Elaine Tan of ASEAN Foundation, participated in the 14th ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Rural Development and Poverty Eradication (SOMRDPE) held on 02 – 03 October 2017. Ms. Ramirez presented before the Senior RDPE Official of ASEAN Member States the milestones and achievements of AsiaDHRRA-SOMRDPE Partnership Framework, which was approved during the 13th SOMRDE.
The new Chair from Malaysia, Datuk Borjam Bin Dolen, encouraged the further strengthening of the Partnership, especially thru more concrete actions like South-South Learning Exchanges.
