Manila, Philippines—AgriCord and AsiaDHRRA co-organized a simultaneous “Learning Exchange Workshop on Communications and Visibility, and Financial Management” on March 6-9, 2018 at Golden Phoenix Hotel, Manila.
Discussion on components of AFOSP, the existing practices among agri-agencies and national FO implementing partners, and learning from AFA as implementing partner of AFOSP MTCP, were emphasized during the training.
AgriCord’s CEO, Ms. Hannelore Beerlandt, and Secretariat, Ms. Lorraine Jolly, were present along with partner farmer’s organizations, Asian Farmers Association (AFA), representatives from Agri-Agency members of AgriCord – Agriterra, FFD, Trias, and, We Effect.

AsiaDHRRA, for communications and visibility, handled a crash course on the importance of social media; coached a session on photography; and, conducted an orientation on E-filing as support for sharing common financial documents.  The group concluded with the hope that the KM can be rolled out at national level to give opportunity to more national FFP partner FOs to benefit from the capacity building activities.
