Program Manager Ms. Luz Almagro Blanco guested at the PTV DavNor Network, Radio 911 – to formally introduce AsiaDHRRA’s latest project on “Harnessing CSO Capacities for Eliminating Child Labor Action through Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships and Agri-entrepreneurship” on 20 February 2024. The opportunity was made possible with the support of Kaanib Foundation Inc., a partner organization of the initiative, and has been working with the Provincial Council for the Protection of Children in Davao Del Norte, promoting children’s rights and eliminating child labor.
Ms. Blanco has provided the project’s overview, objectives, and alignment with AsiaDHRRA’s Strategic Plan for empowering women and youth in agriculture. Likewise, she outlined the project’s contribution to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 8 – on Decent Work and Economic Growth.
