AsiaDHRRA, in partnership with the Peace and Equity Foundation (PEF), conducted Institutional Building Technical Assessment (IBTA) with the Keytodak Coffee Growers, Inc (KCGI) on 8-13 May 2023 at Sitio Bayugan, Lebak, Sultan Kudarat. The assessment’s objective is to provide a general overview of the Farmers’ Organization (FO) capacity level, identify areas for improvement, and possible action to address areas for growth. Similarly, the workshop aims to sustain PEF’s area of development approach by building the capacity of the FOs in managing their organization and enterprises.
The four tools measured in the process are an assessment of Social, Governance, Operations, and Finance. Moreover, the procedure of the tool points to identifying the maturity level of the FOs, the capacities that need improvement, and defining priority areas for short and long-term intervention.
