Job accountability:
The Regional Technology Integration and Applications Specialist (RTIAS) leads the process of identification, validation, and consolidation of farm/agriculture needs (with specific emphasis on smallholder field realities), matching these with available digital technologies/applications (through a process of integration). The RTIAS also ensures that the knowledge, attitude, and skills necessary for farmer-users to effectively use priority applications are securely within their minimum competencies.
The position is primarily responsible for:
- Needs Identification, Analysis, and Consolidation
- Training Content Creation
- Training Management
Minimum Competency Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems Management, Communication Technology, or other related areas may substitute for some of the required years of experience.
Relevant Work Experiences:
At least five (5) years of experience in Capacity Development for NGOs, CSOs, and government
Specific Work Experiences
- Experience designing and implementing learning needs assessment, training implementation, monitoring, and assessment.
- Well-versed in digital technologies/applications
- Good facility in the English language
- Able to work well with teams from different cultures.
- Respects diversity and sensitivity to culture, gender, religion, and age
- With excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Works well under pressure and exerts self-management in performing his work
