14 June 2022 — The Asian Partnership for the Development of Human Resources in Rural Areas (AsiaDHRRA), together with PhilDHRRA and the Institute of Social Order (ISO), conducted a local project orientation on Youth Capacity Development towards Decent Employment Opportunity for Sustainable Agriculture at the Municipal Government Center, Real, Quezon, Philippines.

The orientation aims to develop an understanding of the project’s objectives, targets, project management, and the roles of the involved stakeholders. It also targets identifying strategies and approaches to implementing risk mitigation measures during the project’s fieldwork.

Furthermore, the meeting engenders commitment and support from the local government and stakeholders.

Real, Quezon’s Mayor Diana Abigail D. Aquino gave the welcome remarks, hosted, and provided the venue for the activity.

The program is a joint intervention between the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and AsiaDHRRA addressing child labor and the promotion of decent work, particularly in three municipalities of Quezon, namely, Infanta, Panukulan, and Real. The local implementation is being led by ISO and PhilDHRRA
