16 – 17 February 2022 – PhilDHRRA in partnership with AsiaDHRRA and FAO organized a Learning Needs Assessment Workshop on “Empowering women and youth in responsible investments in agriculture and food systems”, on 16 to 17 February 2022 via Zoom.

The workshop gathered some 27 representatives from civil society organizations, non-government organizations, farmers organizations, cooperatives, and academe that play important and strategic role to engage and empower women and youth in Responsible Agricultural Investments (RAI).

The participants engaged in group and plenary discussion on the key activities and set priorities on knowledge and skills needed to better support women and young people in engaging in the policy-making process related to RAI.

PhilDHRRA LNA is the last of the three series of country workshops. The first workshop was conducted in Cambodia by CamboDHRRA on 25 to 26 January 2022, while the second was conducted in Lao PDR by LaoDHRRA on 9 February 2022.
