25 – 26 January 2022 – CamboDHRRA Association/CamboDHRRA in collaboration with AsiaDHRRA, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Fisheries organized a 2-day leaning needs assessment workshop held on 25 to 26 January 2022, at Divit Hotel Kara Divit, Phnom Penh.
The workshop on “Empowering women and youth in responsible investments in agriculture and food systems”, was attended by Ms. Ho Malin, Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Hunting and Fisheries, and Chairman of the Gender and Child Work; Mr. Uncle Kosol, Deputy Representative of the United Nations Food and Agriculture; Mr. Pan Sopheap, Chairman of the Board of Cambodia Association, together with various government agencies, civil society organizations, farmers organization, agricultural community, private companies, and research institutions.
The workshop aimed to review the key activities and set priorities on knowledge and skills needed to better support women and young people in engaging in the policy-making process related to Responsible Agricultural Investments (RAI).
