13 December 2021 – AsiaDHRRA conducted a round table discussion on the result of the gender mainstreaming strategy in ASEAN in support of rural development and poverty eradication, via Zoom.
The study was developed by the AsiaDHRRA, together with the ASEAN Secretariat, with mandates from the Senior Officer Ministries of the Rural Development and Poverty Eradication (SOMRDPE), as one of the regional initiatives in the RDPE Framework Action Plan 2021-2025 and in aid of the completion of the ASEAN Rural Development Master Plan (RDMP).
The RDT aims to: (a) Provide a venue to present the result of the 
gender mainstreaming study; and (b) Gather inputs and comments from AMS particularly on the ff.: Validate and improve the proposed convergence framework for gender

ASEAN; and Propose regional priority areas or themes for convergence among sectors in ASEAN in support of RDPE.
