AsiaDHRRA, represented by Secretary General, Ms. Marlene Ramirez is participating in the ongoing ASEAN Civil Society Conference (ACSC 2007) being held on October 26-28, 2007 in Singapore. The regional event is organized by the Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA)
The Civil Society Conference is organized by the Singapore Institute of International Affairs with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The conference aims to allow further participation by more groups in ASEAN, to provide substantive discussions that can be usefully fed into the ASEAN Summit and to regularize the participation in ASEAN through the role of the ASEAN Secretariat.
The conference will feature participation by civil societies in ASEAN.
