Leaders' Dialogue to be held in Thailand

The dialogue with trade negotiators will serve as the first part of the leaders’ Dialogue which runs until March 6, 2005 at Pinnacle Hotel, Sattahip, Thailand. The second part will focus on sharing and discussion on the responses to the Tsunami disaster. NGO leaders involved in relief and rehabilitation efforts will be sharing their efforts and hopefully more proactive responses to disaster management can be discussed.
The last part of the leaders’ dialogue will focus on defining the Asian NGO leadership framework amidst globalization. This is a sequel to the discussion at Cyberjaya last year which tried to identify the dilemma and challenges of NGO leaders in facing globalization. This year’s discussion will attempt to look into various patterns of leadership emerging from the experiences of various NGO leaders. Various leadership stories and case studies shall be shared as take-off point for reflecting and discussing the Asian NGO leadership framework. Personal and collective responses to nurture such leadership framework shall likewise be identified.
