Last May 17-21, 2004 key leaders and staff of AsiaDHRRA took a break from work and headed to Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) in Tagaytay to energize their spirit and further hone their leadership capacity. The second leadership development session included a refresher session for the second liners to prepare them for the second development activity.
The leadership session focused on deepening the analytical appreciation of key concepts of adaptive and transformational leadership for a more balanced consideration of the leadership and management demands of leading. The session was also an opportunity for understanding, appreciating and learning about the power bases of leading and decision making, their role in the exercise of leadership, especially the participants’ pattern of leading.
