Manila, Philippines – AsiaDHRRA, represented by its Secretary General Marlene D. Ramirez, participated in the ASEAN Co-operative Development Meeting for stakeholders from the ASEAN member states. Ms. Ramirez presented the highlights of the organization’s efforts towards reporting and monitoring the expectations and progress of the goals.
The meeting, held on 6-7 September 2017 at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Manila, was organized by the International Co-operative Alliance– European Union (ICA-EU) Partnership on Co-operatives in Development, People-Centered Businesses in Action, and the Philippine Cooperative Center.
The event aims to bring together cooperative development actors to coordinate, enhance, and broaden their work in implementing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
