JaDHRRA launches Japanese Youth Philippine Exposure 2007

japanese students in the philippinesjapanese students in the philippinesTwelve (12) japanese college students from Otemon University and Kobe University, led by their teachers, Dr. Yoshikuni Yatani and Dr. Hiroyuki Fujioka are set to begin their exposure program in the Philippines. They will visit farming communities in Camarines Sur and Legazpi City in the Bikol region and an urban poor community in Quezon City in Metro Manila from Sept. 4-11, 2007.
The exposure program’s main objective is “to provide the japanese youth venue and opportunity to assess and appreciate their own living condition in Japan and to reflect for themselves the meaning of happiness and abundance of life by introducing them a different country socio-economic situation susch as Philippines as point for comparison.”
