AsiaDHRRA and LaoDHRRA convened a meeting on 21 March 2023 to assess the status and organizational direction and look for more possible partnerships to work collectively in the future. The AsiaDHRRA team was welcomed by LaoDHRRA Board, namely Mr. A Khom Tounalom (Ph.D.), Mr. Boun Oum Douangphrachanh, Mr. Khampa Keomanychanh, and Mr. BounKeua Vongsalath (Ph.D.).
Ms. Khambang Thippavong, LaoDHRRA’s Executive Director, presented their Strategic Plan 2021-2025 and highlighted the organization’s goals, from promoting product transformation and market access, enhancement of information and technology tools, and developing farmers’ group management organizations.
AsiaDHRRA works with LaoDHRRA in empowering women and youth to engage in Responsible Agricultural Investment (RAI), an FAO-supported program.
