DHRRA Network Malaysia conducts Strategic Planning Workshop

DHRRA Network Malaysia conducted an orientation and strategic planning workshop entitled “Operationalizing DHRRA Malaysia and AsiaDHRRA Cooperation” on February 24-25, 2006 in Taiping,Malaysia. The two-day activity hopes to deepen stakeholdership, generate commitment and draw concrete plans in operationalizing the strategic plan of the network at the DHRRA level.

Specifically, the activity hopes to:

  1. Enhance appreciation of DHRRA’s situation and direction.
  2. Deepen the understanding of DHRRA key leaders and members about AsiaDHRRA’s history and spirit, 5-year Strategic Plan, and the mandated organizational growth tool for DHRRAs
  3. Generate clear commitments to operationalize the Strategic Plan at the DHRRA level
  4. Identify concrete areas for support and cooperation between DHRRA and AsiaDHRRA
  5. Review (and revise) DHRRA operational plan for 2007, integrating its commitments to the AsiaDHRRA strategic plan.

Marlene Ramirez, AsiaDHRRA Secretary General and Lany Rebagay, AsiaDHRRA Program Officer facilitated the activity.
